chevron message board

Notes are just so cheerful.  Waking up to find a new text, a napkin covered in scribbles in your lunch, a quick email to brighten up your work day... I could go on and one.  Notes are just one of my favorite things. So, I made this... It hangs over my little desk and I love spotting a new note on there after Jason's left for work. And, I love leaving one for him.

Now, I'm not the craftiest, but this is a craft I can get behind. So easy to make! I spotted it on my friend, Kaitlin's blog.  She made it for her hubby on her 1st anniversary.  (Um, how cute is that?) The design, however, belongs to Sarah @ Life {Sweet} Life.

I decided to add a photo booth photo we had made a few days after we were engaged to the background to personalize it a bit.  Sorry about the sloppy handwriting... and the mis-spelling... ek!

Chevron Message Board

From The Martin House & Life {Sweet} Life

Supplies:

  • Frame (Mine was $10 a Target!)
  • Sarah's Design (It comes in Aqua, Grey, Blue, Beige, and Pink!)
  • Photo (Optional)
  • Dry Erase Markers

1. Oohing and ahhing over Sarah's blog. Printing the design

2. Use doublestick tape to secure the photo to the design.  Then regular tape to position it on the mat board.

3. Frame and hang.

4. Get writing.  The more you write the more likely you are to happening upon a little note from your cutie.

This is adorable and so easy. Definitely going to try to make it for our kitchen.
