superbowl snack bar round up

I really should have some fan-freakintasic finger food for you to just oooggle and aaawww over before whipping it up for the big game, but my life kinda exploded this week and it just didn't happen.

No buffalo wings.

No spinach artichoke dip.

No guac.

I've got nothing.

So instead... to make good and all... Here are my party picks.   My dream superbowl, where Green Bay is playing Pittsburgh, and all the Steelers fans leave crying (*sigh* last year), would have this incredulous, gluten-free spread.

1. DIY Sandwich Bar (Replace the sourdough with toasted Udi's Whole Grain Loaf ;)

2. Roasted Garlic Bruschetta (Udi's works here too.)

3. Skinny Beer-Garitas

4. Mini-Corn Dog Muffins (Substitute the flour based batter with Gluten-Free Mommy's Cornbread.)

5. Pico & Guac with Zesty Lime Chips

6. Baked Chicken Taquitos (Just use corn tortillas, not flour tortillas.)

7. Expresso Fudge Brownies

8. Easy Taco Soup  (Serves a ton of peeps, fast!)

9. Restaurant-Style Queso Dip

10. Hot Pizza Dip (Udi's!)

11. Woodchuck Hard Cider(Naturally GF bay-bay ;)

12. Mango-Strawberry Ice Cream

13. Sweet Potato French Fries

14. Cowboy Nachos (Make sure you use a GF enchilada sauce!)

15. Spinach-Artichoke Dip  (Serve with crunchy World Table Brown Rice & Flax Crackers rather than a baguette)

All you party-people have a great (GF) super bowl.  I'll be screaming my head off with you.  And rest assured, in spite of this line-up, I am there for the FOOTBALL!!!
